Johnston Flying Services is now approved to provide private, instrument, and commercial helicopter training under FAR Part 141.  We also expect approval to offer V.A. benefits to veterans by July 2006.  As a result, we are experiencing increased enrollment, and our school is growing.  With growth comes increased demand for additional aircraft and instructors.  Since most civilian trained helicopter pilots begin their careers as flight instructors, you'll need to consider flight instructor job opportunities when you choose your school.

At Johnston Flying Services, we believe that flight instruction is the most important job in aviation.  We require our instructors to take a professional approach to training students.  Like most schools, we prefer to hire flight instructors that were trained by us.  This helps to ensure that we have the right personnel to maintain our training standards.
